‘What is beauty?’ I ask you.
You take my hand and lead me to the mirror. You point at the reflection of you and I and you make me smile.
‘What is beauty?’ you ask me.
You look at me and smile your witty smile and instantly that ties a knot in my tummy, make me feel angelic. I look down and in silence you know what I mean.
‘Beauty,’ you say, ‘is when you look stunningly beautiful without any makeup clad on your face’, I turn around grab a Vogue magazine and say ‘It’s when paper-thin models expose themselves on the covers and insides knowing that men like you will drool and die feeling them in their imaginations.’
‘Beauty,’ you say, ‘is an unmarried girl, untouched by the vulgarities of life and other human beings’. So I say ‘you mean since your hand has touched every inch of me I am not beautiful anymore? I am not the perfect flower in your field and I don’t have what it takes to woo you into a land of dreams and fantasies?’
‘Beauty,’ you conclude, ‘is perfection.’
I glare at you with innocent eyes. I am sad and I feel raped.
‘You’re wrong,’ you say, feeling annoyed that I don’t understand the big picture you draw for me.
‘You’re naive,’ you say. ‘You are the most beautiful on my fields of life honey bunch. You have no idea how you make the flowers that want to bloom around me feel shy and escape before making through to me. You are the cultivating grounds of my life. Your beauty is incomparable to anything I pick of choose. God picked you for me for a reason and I know what it is, you’ll know it too, soon!’
I get up and pretend I am leaving the room and you pull me in your embrace my arms tightly knotted in your manly spirit.
‘Beauty with you will last with me forever;
you may think I think on material terms when I think beauty
But there is no denial, my beauty is you, you define everything beautiful for me because you have the heart that glows of nothing but gold.
Even if the goodness around me ceases to exist, I will not stop believing in the goodness because you my beauty will always have that glow on me.’
And then he uttered what was the most magical of everything at that very moment. It still excites me when I read the scribbles he left on my phone just so I never forget the worth of me.
‘They should name a gender after you. Just looking at you doesn’t do it. Staring is the only way that makes any sense. And trying not to blink, so you don’t miss anything. And all of that, and you’re you. I mean…look…forgive me, it’s just that you are drop dead crazy gorgeous. So much so that I am actually considering looking at you again before we finish up here.’
Originally from the movie Spanglish, whispered into my ears while I sat enveloped in his warm embrace clad in minimal makeup and yet the most beautiful woman in the world to the man who is the first and the last love of my life.

I have stopped visiting ur stuff just so that i dont dream, i dont imagine and i dont do stuff which leads to so many sufferings… this still marks an excellent piece of writing… filled with the ages old human emotions but with a most unique style of writing…
